Kevin Mullery is currently a Superintendent/Principal of a small single-school school district in the central California coast, Blochman Union School District. Over the years, Kevin has served as an elementary principal for a large elementary school, a staff development administrator, a mentor teacher, and a teacher in grades from second to ninth.
He has had many educational projects that used technology as a tool. However, his real concern is that technology be integrated accross the curriculum. Kevin's curriculum background is extensive. He has been actively involved in many of the state projects: Writing, Literature, Mathematics, and History/Social Studies. "I am not a techie." Professional development and curriculum integration led Kevin to apply for the TICAL project. His expertise is a great addition to the TICAL cadre.
Kevin has presented at many conference during his professional career some examples are: California Reading Association (He was a past chapter president.), the California Science Teachers Association, and the National Science Teacher Association.
Hobbies include running and woodworking. However, his favorite hobby has always been spending time with his daughter who is now 25 years old. In fact, he couldn't wait for grandchildren and now has a 5 year old daughter.
