Learn Zillion is a website with more than 2000 high quality, teacher-created videos that are aligned to the new Common Core State Standards (CCSS). This would be a great site for those looking to create a blended learning model. Teachers can set up classes and recommend specific videos for students. Start with the Learn Zillion welcome video for more information on how to use. It also has resources for parents who want to support their students.

Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium Minimum Tech Requirements

The Smarter Balanced Technology Strategy Framework and System Requirements Specifications provide minimum hardware specifications and basic bandwidth calculations that will allow schools and districts to evaluate which of their existing computers will support the administration of the assessment system in the 2014-15 school year that will evaluate students' mastery on the Common Core State Standards.

Grade K-6 Technology Skills Matrix

This matrix shows what what students should be introduced to, practice, and/or master in each grade level from kindergarten to 6th grade. From general computer operation skills, to multimedia creation and desktop publishing, 11 different topic areas are included. This can be used to get a sense of what skills are needed for students to be successful on SBAC or PARCC.


CalMAPP/SBAC/PARCC Preparation Checklist

This resources provides administrators resources in implmentation and administration of the next generation, Computer Adaptive Testing (CAT). While emphasis is placed on California’s CalMAPP/SBAC assessments, this document's resources are relevant to all CAT programs. Though this list is not exhaustive, it should provide school and district administrators with a foundational list in order to start the planning process toward the implementation of the field test.
